Targeted at the developer, server professional and architect communities, Microsoft Tech Ed 2005 is aimed at providing them
with insights in six key areas - developer tools, systems infrastructure, databases, mobility and embedded, connected systems and smart client, and architecture.
The event includes in-depth sessions, hands-on labs, technical showcases, partner pavilions, and informal interaction areas that are designed to answer technical queries and address technical problems. This year the event will include over 60 sessions delivered by more than 45 speakers over three days in each city. Approximately 4,000 participants are expected to attend from the Indian subcontinent.
For the first time at Tech Ed, Microsoft is hosting a "Women in Technology" luncheon to provide women developers, server professionals and architects an informal environment to engage and interact with experts from the industry. The vendor is also hosting an entertainment night in each city with performances from local bands.
Microsoft Tech Ed is being held for the ninth year in a row in India, and the sponsors this year include Intel, Dell, Sapient, Accenture, GrapeCity, and Avocent International.
