The company's Vice-President, Sanjay Khendry, said that apart from established players, many smaller companies and start-ups, which are funded by venture capital companies, are looking to India-centric operations to bring in efficiencies in their product development cycles. The company expects this space to contribute to about 35 per cent of its overall revenue, and hopes to induct about 450 people, thereby taking its headcount in this domain to 800 by the year-end. Sierra has over 1,000 people working in India and is in the process of developing a campus in Hyderabad, which is likely to be ready later this year.
