Hyderabad's new identity

A unique new logo for Hyderabad, the alphabet H with minarets reminiscent of the city's most visited monument, the Charminar and a stylish Horizontal slash. The logo was chosen from a short list of four and it will on all official correspondence.

"Charminar is a symbol of Hyderabad and is known nationally and internationally. The logo clearly identifies the city, so we had four options. Nearly for the past one year we were trying to form the logo," said Subash Chanderji, Deputy Mayor of Hyderabad.

Already the new logo seems to have found its way into the hearts of the people of Hyderabad. According to them the new logo symbolises the city's eagerness to march forward. "The new logo marries the past, the present and the future," expressed a resident of Hyderabad.

Interestingly, those who wish to incorporate this logo into their business communication can do that without any hassle. After all, the idea is to inculcate pride and belonging to the city among all people in Hyderabad.
