Simple solution to a big problem
Looks unbelievable on the face of it, right? But listen to what a German company has to say about the vehicular traffic problem in Hyderabad, which has been defying a solution for years.
According to TUV Rheinland general manager (south) Jens Hempel, problems that appear difficult could in fact have simple solutions. For the problems of Hyderabad traffic, his organisation in association with Sree Krishnasai Engineering Systems could have simpler answers.
The solutions the company proposed to the government would not only cut down the involvement of police personnel by about one-fourth but also ensure a continuous flow of traffic.
According to Sree Krishnasai promoter N Ramakrishna Rao, the proposal submitted to the government involved reduction in the cost of traffic signalling equipment and ensured good basis for receiving carbon credits.
TUV Rheinland, a worldwide operation group specialised in engineering safety, environment, mobility and transport, submitted a proposal to the State government on Monday with a solution to the problem of traffic and the concomitant evil of pollution.
TUV Rheinland, which is an authorised institution for vehicle testing in Germany, has been operating in India for over a decade with headquarters at Bangalore and branches all over India, including Hyderabad.
